Little Einsteins

We had our fist session of Little Einsteins this afternoon.
The students have been put into groups and are given a challenge each.  They will do a new challenge each week.  We are hoping to encourage problem solving, team work and collaboratively.  We would like to say a big THANK YOU to 12 Year 7 students who worked with our students today.  This was not only awesome for the Year 7s and our students, but it also allowed the Teachers to roam around asking inquiring questions.

Help with Reading

It can often be quite hard to know how to help your child with their reading at home and what actually is involved in reading.

Under the Reading tab, you will see what the aims are at each colour level.  It's really important to remember that reading involves decoding the words, understanding what they reading and being able to retell what they have read.

We hope this helps.

Credit goes to Mel Harpur for creating these sheets.
